Professional Auditing

We introduce the concept of auditing and the requirements. We look at the process, preparation and benchmarks to be used. We detail the preparation of checklists and explore the various approaches to completing an audit. Auditors need to be objective, non-emotional, listeners and good communicators. They need a sense of humour and a sense of timing. They also need to be self-reliant and capable of following an issue to its resolution where necessary. Keeping an audit on an even keel requires a balanced approach and an ability to be practical but thorough with requirements. Conduct will be key to professional audits.
